What's a delivery like?

Once you receive a delivery or task opportunity, you'll see where it is and what you'll make, and can choose to accept or reject it. Once you accept, there are generally three steps, all of which are clearly outlined in the Driver app:

1. Drive to the restaurant

2. Pick up the food

3. Drive to the customer to drop off the food

About Tips:

Customers using DoorDash can tip you anytime you choose to accept an offer and most offers include a tip. You'll always receive 100% of the customer tips received by DoorDash.

Set your own course:

Choose whether or not to accept offers, find demand near you, and earn more instantly with promotions like Challenges and Peak Pay in the Dasher app.

How are Dashers paid for deliveries with DoorDash?

Dasher earnings, or fares, consist of base pay for each delivery and 100% of tips. Dashers also get Peak Pay on top of that when applicable, plus additional pay from active Promotions.
