Parts counter associate

Randstad is on the hunt for a Parts Counter Pro who knows trailer parts like the back of their hand. If you've helped customers find that one hard-to-locate part for their trailer, kept inventory running like a well-oiled machine, and can talk shop with anyone who walks through the door-you might be the perfect fit. We're looking for someone who's not just good with parts-but great with trailer parts. Your experience in transportation, refrigeration, or automotive parts is valuable, but trailer expertise? salary: $20 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct refrigeration & trailer parts needed for repairs or upgrades. Trailer parts experience is preferred.
• Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring timely restocking of parts.
• Answer phones, fill deliver & will call orders, cycle counts,
• Valid drivers license, previous forklift exp.
• Place orders, receive stock, restock showroom & warehouse, shipping & receiving
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information regarding parts availability and pricing.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is required - trailer parts experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
• Previous experience in automotive, refrigeration and/ or trailer parts is highly desirable.
• Proficient in inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Excellent sales skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone.

The essential functions of this role include:

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
