This job offering is for an independent franchisee who owns and runs a restaurant and has authorization to use McDonald's products and logos, for example, in the operation of the business. It is not for McDonald's USA. However, the franchisee—rather than McDonald's USA—will be your employer if you are hired for the role described here. The franchisee is the only person in responsible of hiring, terminating, disciplining, staffing, and scheduling employees at the business. All other concerns pertaining to employment are under the exclusive jurisdiction of McDonald's USA. Concerning employment, McDonald's USA has no authority over the restaurant. Your employment application will not be copied to McDonald's USA, and the corporation will not be involved in hiring decisions.
