Employment Type: W2 Contract through Randstad (Potential to convert to Full Time after 12 months)

Pay Rate: $88–$91/hour + Full Benefits

Overview:

We’re hiring a Payments Planning Manager on behalf of a leading brand in the short-term vacation rental industry. This is a fully onsite role based in San Francisco proper and offers the opportunity to work closely with Airbnb’s Payments organization. As a key member of the Payments Business Operations team, you’ll help drive strategic initiatives, implement governance frameworks, and ensure cross-functional alignment across large-scale programs and projects. This is a 12-month W2 contract through Randstad with full benefits and potential for conversion to a full-time role .

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with operational stakeholders to manage change processes, from launch to approval.
• Develop and maintain planning and reporting cadences to keep teams aligned and informed.
• Execute planning tools, roadmaps, and performance tracking across the Payments org.
• Identify risks within complex documentation and lead efforts for resolution and mitigation.
• Support the Payments Business Ops team with strategic project launches and execution.
• Drive effective communication of project status and progress to stakeholders.
• Develop and manage a product team governance framework across Payments products/services.
• Facilitate collaboration and visibility across operational and product management teams.

• Lead change management communications with clarity and influence.
• Translate operational goals into actionable plans using collaborative tools.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and updates.
• Proactively manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement and process simplification across projects.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong focus on strategic outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of program/project management experience , ideally in a high-growth service operations or tech environment.
• Proven success implementing governance frameworks for product teams.
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Deep experience with collaborative project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, AirTable, Smartsheet, and Google Docs .
• Strongly preferred: Airtable automation and database design experience.
• Ability to think critically, prioritize strategically, and manage multiple moving parts.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Business, Operations, or Technical field (or equivalent experience).
• PMP or CSM certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with change management programs.
• Passionate about solving unstructured business problems and driving operational excellence.
