Responsibilities
•Set up, adjust and maintain industrial production machinery.
•Plan and Conduct equipment upgrades and rebuilds.
•Assist to fabricate and repair all furnace fixtures and fabricate/purchase/install replacement parts as needed.
•Perform equipment repair involving furnace brick and high temperature insulation blanket.
•Perform maintenance and repairs to vacuum furnace hot zone and manifold train.
•Program and verification of parameters on temperature controllers.
•Diagnostics and repair/replacement of temperature sensing and control instrumentation.
•Diagnose and repair moderate electrical problems involving motors and electric furnace heaters.
•Perform electrical installations.
•Maintain necessary records of repairs; enter completed work orders on the computer.
•Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure
they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
